StoneWater Golf Club Wedding – Tali & Will

Tali & Will’s wedding at StoneWater Golf Club was absolutely perfect!
They had a ton of classic Jewish traditions sprinkled into their big day and it made for such a fun wedding. The glass breaking during the ceremony was so much fun and then they honored a Jewish tradition that immediately follows the ceremony. They spent 5-10 minutes alone without family, friends, or anyone. Just to sit around and soak up each other’s awesomeness before rejoining the party! I personally think that every couple should do this. It’s so important to just spend time with one another on your wedding day!!
After the ceremony, the true party started and do these two know how to throw a party!
They performed a Havdalah ceremony during the reception. Havdalah is a Jewish weekly holiday that literally means “separation”, in which they acknowledge that Shabbat (the Sabbath) is ending, and we return to the regular week. The ceremony only lasted 10 minutes, and they had a cantorial soloist lead it. Everyone received a small container of spices (clove, cinnamon, nutmeg, etc.) that you smell during the ceremony. There is also a really cool moment where the leader extinguishes a candle in a cup of wine and it makes a “ssss” sound. So satisfying.
John and I will truly remember this wedding for the rest of our lives. It was so much fun capturing the love and traditions at Tali & Will’s Wedding!
